Ever since I started counting numbers
There is a mystery behind 40.
They say life begins at 40
And if you want to campaign as President
The minimum requirement will be 40.
As if it was enough
It rang a bell reading biblical scripts.
In the days of Noah it rained 40 days and 40 nights,
Until it came to Moses and Elijah spending 40 days with God,
Israelites took 40 years to reach Canaan.
Jesus came to close the chapter spending 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness.
Maybe I should multiply everything I do by 40.
