Most people are afraid of being lonely. I wonder who told them that being alone means being lonely.
When you are alone that’s when you get to know yourself better. A chance for self-reflection. You have to stop all the noise, all the music and have total silence to hear all your collective thoughts. Some of you want to run away from your thoughts because they haunt you. Don’t be afraid, sometimes what haunts you can give you a revelation of what you are missing.
Alone time is a chance to observe your thoughts and patterns. How will you observe your thoughts when you are in a crowd?
There are a lot of distractions in the crowd. The next task is having a pen and paper and write what you are thinking, writing your fears as they are and even what haunts you. After three days if you read your piece of paper you will start reading your mind. Does that really need a psychologist to do so?
I spotted my flaws from then. Have you ever been confused as if you are three people in a single being. Its nothing else but the clashing of thoughts within the mind. What more if you are in a crowd in this state. You will get more confused. There is a popular cache phrase people are now singing
” Me, myself and I”
Is this a product of 3 people in a single being?
But do you really mean it. Time alone is definitely needed.
Great ideas are born in solitude, so are great men. All great leaders you have seen came from this portal of being alone but it doesn’t mean they were lonely.
Should I tell you about someone who spend 40 days and 40 nights alone in the wilderness? A revelation for you, the more you are closer to finding yourself the more you are closer to finding God too. How many prophets have you seen or heard who got their calling in crowds. They get a calling from God in solitude, is that a secret. Next time you see someone climbing a mountain alone remember he or she is going to find something you are not finding in yourself. If you find me alone never think I am lonely. I am facing the greatness in me.
